The Stained Glass Tarot Deck and Guidebook by James Edward, 78-Card Occult Tarot Set

The Stained Glass Tarot by James Edward

The Stained Glass Tarot is a 78-card tarot deck and 336-page guidebook by James Edward, published by Inner Traditions under the Destiny Books imprint. The cards render the full Rider-Waite-Smith and Marseille structure in a luminous stained-glass style and arrive in a flip-lid box with a magnetic closure. New and factory sealed.

Inspired by the symbolism and color of cathedral windows, this deck is made for a slow, meditative read. The unusually deep guidebook gives upright and reversed meanings for every card, frames the Majors as the soul's journey from The Fool to The World, and explores each card's links to astrology, numerology, alchemy, the Western esoteric tradition and the work of Carl Jung. It also covers how to read, a range of spreads and a short history of tarot.

James Edward is an occultist with more than twenty years in traditional witchcraft, animism and folklore. A substantial, study-oriented set for the serious reader, the collector of sacred art, or anyone drawn to a contemplative practice.
